I was responsible for duplicating the original wires for a proposed television series! I spent years researching the vinyl coating, the copper within and the oxidation of the connections. And now to have someone copy my work. I want an apology. How could any of you buy this wiring from an obvious re-wirer. How can you sleep at night!

Cool Cool Cool Cool

Well, bosstiki, if you would have taken the time you would have noticed that the wires are not vinyl!!! I will not tell you what they are, just know they are not vinyl. I am the only one with access to these wires and the proper paint colors for the wires.

I alone can make this happen! Not you, ME!

Wires, liars or wires....my arm pits perspire. If only we could get an electron scanning microscope. I tell you what, we would find out that they are actually wrapped in snake scales, not fishscales or vinyl!

Where do we draw the line if something is called a prop? Some stupid wires from the spinner is just plain old "JUNK". It has no value!!! As a prop hobbyist it is fun to find some cool items from the movie but if we are going to analyze our movie till we discover that Harrison Ford had an HB pencil on his desk, lets not call it a prop, my friends!! The lamps, weapons, chairs, clothing, glassware are all fun things to research IF they are unique. Anything else like a piece of scrap metal from the spinner belongs in the scrap-yard unless you can find the entire spinner intact as a complete prop!!!!

I disagree. I gladly paid $1,000.00 for a nut that held a bracket onto a strut that supported part of the subframe of left rail attached to the undercarriage of the skeleton of the spinner.

Well, it was the backup nut, so it wasn't really used, but it was ready to on a moment's notice! Wink

Yea...but it's considered "production made" or "production acquired" or "production purchased" or something like that, in the terminology of prop merchants. Very Happy

unfortunate you were only able to get one. I hear they are much more valuable in pairs.

Heh, this one at least is somewhat identifiable. Of course ten years from now when I put together a 1:1 spinner mock up I'm going to kick myself in the butt for not buying those wires Twisted Evil
