That is as nice a thing as anyone has ever written to me in a public forum. Thank you!

To verify, i was commenting on the "artists proof" photos as Andy had posted. I give it a 99% as well it is the best one i have seen anywhere from anyone and i could never give a 100% as that would make it equal to the actual heroprop, and no one can match the king as there is only one! I had forgot there was some plastic on the replica blaster, so let me retract the 99 and give it a 90% for the "artists proof" that is with the cut wires added. !

Right with you, panzerrune. The Artist's Proof Tomenosuke Blaster looks so much like the real thing, it's easy to forget that some of the "metal" parts are actually plastic. It truly is a stunning piece of work.

cheers for the updates temponaut Smile

I just read the q&a on the plastic parts. shame about those laws. though not as bad as the uk where they like to ban anything that looks like a gun!

Yeah, you guys have it pretty rough over there. At least in Japan, there's a booming airsoft industry. And, although I think it may be technically against the law, a number of after-market manufacturers still sell metal upgrades for airsoft guns.

At this time, all of the kits and finished Blasters have sold through. The shop chief at Tomenosuke Shoten tells me that this Blaster will not be produced again in kit or finished form.

Several days ago, I happened across an auction for a Tomenosuke Kit on Yahoo! Japan. You can find that post on the previous page of this thread. Here's the pertinent information again:

I've already seen the kit version for auction on Yahoo! Japan, starting at JPY 110,000 (close to JPY 40,000 over the original cost). No bids yet.

Here's the link:

The auction ended with no bids.

No reply too. I guess as temponaut said, they expect to have the kits finished by enf of february, and then we'll be contacted.

I just received this:

I said ,
「The next run completed after February next year2009 」
The orders from overseas customers are very huge. So Sorry..

The time of completion and the claim is delayed because large time is required the final to finish up and to process the kit, .
The kit is made handmade one by one.
Time and a labor large though one piece is made are spent.
It still takes time until the kit can be prepared.Sorry.

I will send mail of PAYPAL as soon as next run becomes possible to offer.
It seems that it becomes about April.

After confirming the settlement,
I will send it out by EMS. EMS carriage costs separately besides the kit price 73500 yen.
Shipping cost is 5000 yen in the United States and 5500 yen in Europe.

If you ok,
I want you to tell it. to all friends of you who ordered the blaster.

Sincerely,

eno
