Yeah! I took another look at all the photos of the construction and am blown away by the attention for detail. This looks like the kind of gun I have been dreaming of. I can only hope and beg that these become a widely produced and affordable replica sometime soon. Though coming from Japan I doubt it will be the latter.

I also noticed from looking back at the Elfin Knights site that they are also now offering a one piece solid "stunt" style casting now. Still over $100 US though.

Hey:

I REALLY like the way this looks. Something about the clear grips on the bare silver give it a very clean look that I think is pretty cool.

Really cool.

I may have to use this look when I do my all silver blaster.

Which should be SOON!

Bitchin.

I also hope the maker also will make copies of his blueprints available too.

Looks Great!

They should do a few colour ways. Although personally I'd be lucky to afford just one, I'm sure some of the richer collectors would need to buy every variant.

I find it interesting that they made all the metal parts metal except for the Bulldog. I suspect it might be gun law issues. I would be curious to see if a real bulldog 44 could be swapped out into it. I also spied a stunt casting in the back ground in a few of the pictures.

I would have to say they seem to have been able to get all the proportions right. You could probably overlay pics of the worldcon and they would match perfectly. The person who did this seems to have done it with a lot of love for that gun. That is an immense amount of devotion and work. I am in awe.

My only expectations are that colours available are not the same as Benetton cart! Very HappyVery HappyVery Happy

The transparent grips are very nice for me. Different taste! I will buy one of this if price was not so high.

Now... my pocket is almost empty.... too many expenses last month! Razz

It looks like in the link you just provided there are pics of this model being boxed up for sale. Any idea when this will be available or where it can be purchased from?

From what I could tell they already shipped out some artists proofs and a first run of 50 is being made. There was a lot of talk about getting them licensed and distributed world wide. Talks with the aforementioned toy distributor in the US were also mentioned. The date of December has been mentioned, but the limit of the translation programs I used didn't allow me to get an accurate and clear picture of what exactly is going on.

I apologize for not posting links to translated pages. I tried to do it several times but the translator I was using would not let me do that easily. Just copy the URL and put it into babelfish or another translator to get the full story.

From the looks of it, this seems to be the MOST accurte version of the gun to date. Infact, it kicks asses from anything that has been offered before.

I could only find 2 minor faults (when compared to the origal gun), but hey, I've been stuying the Blaster for 5 years now.

If anyone know any clue on how to get one, please post. This loos like the almost definitieve blaster. THIS ONE, I'll be getting.

BTW, I agree with this statement about 100%. A few minor things that I might have done differently, but it captures the look and feel of the gun, as well as the details better than anything I have seen so far. I have stated before that there is no "ultimate" replica of the gun, from what I see here this is the closest so far.

The price they are showing so far seems to be around $700 (depending on fluctuating dollar/yen rates). If the price ends up about half that, this will be a "Must Have".
