Ok.
I really wanna get a Blade Runner blaster. Trouble is, i'm low on funds and live in the UK.

I've found 2 places that have resin blasters and would like to know which is the better.

Number 1...

Price = £60 + P&P

Number 2...

Price = £89.95 + P&P

If anyone knows anywhere else in the UK that has any, i'd really appreciate a PM.

(Hope i've not broken any rules posting links and prices)

#1 isn't very screen-accurate at all, & #2 is almost certainly a recast of one of Rick Ross's PKDs.

Have you tried to get in touch with Rick about getting one of his? As I recall they were pretty affordable...

Stay away form Frontier Models.
Almost everything they sell is recast.

Second one on teh bottom is a much better looking kit. As others have mentioned contact RR here and buy an original of the same kit.

I would love to get a more accurate blaster but with the gun laws so strict here in the UK it has to be in the UK already.

Thanks for your helps guys.

The search continues.

The top one is a recast of an Oz Shop/Marco kit, and the bottom is a recast of a Rick Ross PKD-1.

Both are very likely to be full of bubbles and seams. I am not sure of the quality of the castings though. If I had to pick one it would be the PKD.

If you keep looking though, you might find someone in the UK looking to get rid of one of theirs.

I bought the #1 from FrontierModels about 10 years ago: bad buy!
I would go with #2, but it's a recast (as almost everything on their site)!

I thought the first looked like the Marco blaster. These are the only 2 that i've found in the UK so far.

You might try contacting Comet Miniatures directly. They used to have the Offworld gun listed, but might be keeping them on the down low to avoid problems.

Tough call - recasters suck!

If I didn't know that it was recast, I'd take the bottom one.
