couldn't find any US source (I thought we were supposed to have everything) but was able to find one British site that ships internationally:
http://www.mistrys.co.uk/fenjal-classic-luxury-body-spray-gentle-care-p-1568.html
I did find out all sorts of fascinating things about Swiss body care products. _________________ Is this testing whether I'm a Replicant or a lesbian, Mr. Deckard? |

Nice work, Rachael.
Mistrys is going to wonder what's up with the sudden run of people all over the world wanting Fenjal Classic Body Spray.
Now all we need is BeastMaster to confirm that this cap is in fact going to produce the desired results... _________________ "Your old titles mean nothing here... Captain!" |

For the record the Sebastian cap is just a bit wide, and no I didn't steal it. I swapped it with a cap off of a cheaper hair product

Hey Beast,
I was thinking about cutting my gold cap down as well and thought that I would
insert a piece of pipe into it that fit fairly snug and then go around the bottom of it with a small pipe cutter.
I think that would snick off the extra length fairly clean. |

that sounds like a neat idea OB. would definately give a clean cut. but I dont have a pipe cutter
I might try masking taping the area and cutting through the tape. the tape might add some stability to the chrome coating. if that all goes messy then I can always get another one for round two |

just an update on the cap.
I trimmed off some of the bottom so the height is the same size as the diameter. I was relieved that the cut was pretty neat and didn't damage the chrome
the trick is to apply masking tape and cut into that.

Very nicely done, BeastMaster!
That's BeastMaster's in the middle, the Bottle as seen in Bryant's office on the left, and the Bottle as seen in Deckard's apartment (when he's scanning Leon's photo) on the right.
Does it look to anyone else as if the screen-seen JWB Bottles in these two scenes had slightly different caps?
BeastMaster cut his cap so that the diameter is equal to the height. This looks to me to be proportionally close to cap on the Bottle in the screengrab on the right. The cap on the Bottle in the screengrab on the left looks like its height is substantially more than its diameter.
The cap on the left has a visible dimple top and center... just like BeastMaster's.
Great job, BeastMaster! _________________ "Your old titles mean nothing here... Captain!" |

Just for your information. Jovan Musk cap is to big to be useful as a JW bottle cap. It's 35mm diameter.
Well... now I have a gift for my wife...

cheers temponaut
I actually assumed the measurments using caps from the Bryants office bottle scene
It looks pretty squared in these shots as well as others
but you're right, there are some stills where the top appears to be longer. It could either be a different sized top or an optical illusion with the chrome reflections making it appear thinner and elongated. Also motion blur could play a part of it. Alot of the shots where the top looks longer are all taken when the bottle is being moved.
I'm not sure, but the cap sticker seems to be smaller on the movie prop, so that could make the cap appear longer. I was thinking the sticker on the cap could either had been trimed more or from the baby JW bottle.
can anyone confirm the size of the sticker on the baby bottle compared with the bigger one? or are they the same size? |

Well, got mine today and cut down an old champagne cork and then sanded it to make a nice cylindrical profile.
Superglued it in place and now i get that satisfying 'squeak' every time i pour a shot... or two |

the Sebastian Laminates cap is a bit too big in width too. I am still looking for other sources, and have seen some similar stuff on spray paint cans.

There are a ton of mousse cans that have caps that look very close. I'm going to try one of those. It will be a bit of work because they have a tiny hole in their tops. |

I think I might know the ones you mean. is it some sort of mousse for legs? if so the only problem with these is that they are too rounded on the top edge. _________________ "F*ck it, it's just a movie. Let him worry about it" Harrison Ford |

I'll have to check. I remember it being pretty squared off. Of course, the only problem is that it will have to be painted.
I think I will rough it up slightly with sandpaper and then spray it with Krylon Fusion Gloss Black. Then go back and hit it with the Rustoleum Chrome. |
