So I'll put it back on track:
That patina, I know there is a word for it- It is awesome, Rick, when you release the anniversary gun it's it going to look like that? If so, I want to add another to my "growing" collection!
Then the Gaff model
Then the Bryant model
Then the Holden model...maybe his was modded or he carried the snub
Then the "Dirty Harry" model
Then the "sniper" model (scope baby!)
Maybe there was the "Roy Batty" model (well, what did he use at Tannhauser Gate?)
Arrgghh! From hell's heart my wallet stabs at thee!

I'm not sure who did the finish on the one in this photo (PKD-I on keyboard). That one was not built-up by me. My anniversary PKD-I built-ups will have a finish similar to the Magnum and Snub finishes that I did for the prototypes below.
As far as a Gaff Gun is comcerned, I'm currently working on an orginal design gun that I imagine Gaff would carry, at least in my "Blade Runner" Universe. Hope to have it finished before summer.
I imagine that Bryant would have carried the SNUB and Holden would have carried the MAGNUM. Afterall, if you've ever seen the footage of him in the "iron" lung, he delivers his lines like Dirty Harry.
Here's a PKD-I that I built-up back in '97.
This is actually the PKD-I Prototype that I made just before I debuted that kit in LA at the "Mad Model Party" in May of '97. |

Rick, the PKD-I is just classic! I really am looking forward to a rerelease of it. I know with all the latest discoveries for the real blaster everyone has been trying to get the perfect replica, but I just cannot help loving what you created with your PKD line.
I am eagerly awaiting the Gaff version _________________ www.propsummit.com

Hi Bryan,
Sorry for the delays. I'm still working on the PKD-I '97 re-issue for it's 10th Anniversary. I should be finished with it about mid May. As soon as it's done I'll mold up the PKD-III. It should be ready by the end of May. The PKD-I '97 required more work than I expected. Thank you for your continued patience with me.
Sincerely,
Rick |

Now if we can only buy back all your masters from Chip for the PKD-II. I don't think he is selling much anymore with his reputation. I also don't see them on ebay, just his EDC site. |

the pkd-I on the keyboard is my neglected and unfinished pkd-I. I had just primered the parts when that whole pkd blaster exploded a couple of years ago and didn't finish properly weathering this piece.
I love the girth of this version over the smaller .38ish feel of the newer pistols.
if you go back to the pkd-I... and offer metal parts... WHOOHOOO. that would be incredible.

Hi,
I'm finishing up the molds for the PKD-I '97 and soon will be offering them. Once that is done, I'm moving onto the PKD-III and then the PKD (wudi) Enforcer and then finally the Gaff gun.
I'm slow. In the meantime, please enjoy my new website that is still under construction. I change and update it daily in an effort to find what I'm looking for. I still have a lot of photos to add and a lot of tweaking to do, but in between mold making and casting, I squeeze in time to work on the site. If it glows green when you mouse over it, then follow the link. At the moment the PKD-II 2018 link is the most developed. Check out the Spec Sheet link. The theme will be that of a gun manufacturer in the year 2044. You do the cryptic math.

Well, after 10 years, 3 months, about 5 days, and some considerable cleanup and repair, this pattern has returned to a clay bed.
