I'm trying to find as close a match to this 7 ring binder as possible. I know it's a long shot but does anyone recognize it?
Notice the funky texture on the insides of the covers, and there appears to be a lip around the edge but I can't tell if it zips up or not.
The closest thing I can see today are these sort of things. But they don't seem to be very cheap!

Regardless of the price, that looks pretty close to me! _________________ Mike

the inside looks like some textured rubber material you can probably source and add in. _________________ "F*ck it, it's just a movie. Let him worry about it" Harrison Ford |

That textured rubber material is also around the sides of the binder. |

Yeah man, but $160 for a binder plus shipping!...
There must be some cheaper leatherette or vinyl ones out there...

I spent several nights looking at these on line, as well as look at every second hand shop I go to for these, and you found the best one I have seen so far. The 7 rings seems to be the key. I have even been looking for the Rubber stamps. Very little in BR seemed to be "common".

Great project Kurtyboy, that would be perfect for my Whitefall Files.

I made a mistake earlier, they seem to be $160 not $60.
The 7 ring thing seems to be used by pilots. This particular one is a day planner. |

...how about filling such a binder with replicas of the REAL file pages as seen in the deleted scene and in clips scattered throughout the special DEV features!?
Well, guess what I've been working on for the past six months!?
Expect a preview very soon...

Actually, those eagle eyed amongst you might have spotted the preview in my avatar some time ago.

Does anyone have any leads on the textured rubber matting for the binder? I can't find anything even close. |

The closest I had found was a Franklin Planner binder. The textured material looks similar to the rubber sheet you can buy for tool shelves and Kitchen shelves as a non slip surface. I have also seen similar stuff used for place matts.

Yep Andy, that one pictured above is a Franklin. The modern ones seem a bit too fancy though. |

Right again Andy. I forgot I had some of that rubber matting for a Vader Reveal project I started working on about five years ago!
The pattern isn't identical but it's close enough

Lakeland in the UK is a source/supply of the exact textured rubber sheeting it's used for protecting shelves from the marks of tin cans!
I'm looking forward to you offering these for sale ( or the insert sets ) as the Franklyn 365 day planner binder is an expensive piece to buy on it's own ! |

Any thoughts about selling repos of the paperwork in this file and letting the buyers have the nightmare of finding the binder, just a thought |
