Anyone got a spare one? I've got me an ML-90, MQ-11, Travel Silencio and Panaview so with one of these I'll almost be there!

Hi I have the braun silencio hair dryer.. At the moment I am putting parts together for the phone.. I too am looking for a bic lighter tray ..casio Mq-11 .. thank you for identifying the parts to the Deckard phone ... Do you have any interest in assembling the phone in the future if I find the parts? Cost?

I build them, but I provide all the parts and they are not cheap.

$400 with Casio

$350 with less than mint Casio

$300 with no Casio

plus shipping

I'm about to start on two more. Not much of a market so I figure one more to sell and one for me.

If your curious:

Tom thanks for the reply
I spent the evening looking at all the threads on the Deckard phone last night and got excited like a drug induced fan ... I get on these kicks and collect everything like all the Braun kitchen stuff.. I see 2 leather covered contempra phones on ebay... I have been looking and have not seen any other color contempra phones with push buttons ...all seem to be dial.. About a year ago I bought a phone from ebay that looked the same but had a dial in cream color.. I probably should not have done that. It is too easy to buy stuff on ebay.

I have had the Panaview 1 for sometime... last night I bought a braun hair drier... and the leather covered contempra might work if I took off the leather.. but the casio Mq-11 is the hard one to find.. I have searched for that one for a few months on the internet and ebay... nothing really listed on ebay..

I would think the Br fans would want one.. but the economy is so bad..
I don't know what to do ... would you have any interest in building me a phone using my parts and no casio MQ-11 ???? my email is gwilloughby@ca.rr.com

Tom please see my email address and I will send you my regular address I am seriously thinking of having you build a phone for me... if you do not want all the things I have purchased for the build ... perhaps I can sell it on ebay?? I know that I will not take the time to build a deckard phone .. Question does the deckard phone in his living room have the same bic panel?

Email me and we can work out if you would like $200 to start the project.. I have a feeling that in my lifetime I will not see a VK so maybe this phone will take the place of the VK.. believe it or not I don't know how to instant message..

Email on the way. There is actually a VK project over at RPF that looks promising and one here that is looking good as well.

Gary, the V.K. is indeed going at a Jurassic crawl because of many exterior factors (relying on others to do some of the parts can be frustrating for sure Crying or Very sad ) when all the parts will be ready, it's going to be faster for sure...but until then, I'm waiting to see what kind of quality these people can deliver.

As for the Vid-Phone, I think that the design of the Bic tray and its size were the same for every phone...unless someone can come up with a detailled pic of the actual prop this is my story and I'll stick to it

Thank you so much. I know Stephen Dane would be glad to help too.
