|
|
Hi every one.
I am working on my PKD-1 blaster Kit and was wandering how every one is doing with theres?
I need a bet more inspiration for the paint and would like to see every ones work.
I am doing some major extensive work on the kit and was wondering what colors people are using. I am planing on using A similar Color layout from the World con Blaster, but thinking of using Silver and A dark gray metallic.
This model will have real Cap screws (All fake ones replaced) + Some I have seen on the world Con blaster, right down to the small Screws on the top of the receiver.
If i am successful I might even get the triggers to move and be spring loaded. I am also toying with the potability of installing some LEDs inside the orange grips and eliminating them.
I hope to post some progress pictures soon

Here Are some juicy Shots of my latest project.
This is my first attempt at making spring loaded triggers and I think I got this down. All I need is A replacement Guard and some stuff for lighting.
I am so happy with the 2 tone color, Silver with A copper mist for a rust effect and A dark metallic gun metal color. Looking forward to replacing the side knob with A nice screen accurate weaver knob.

As you can see I managed to get quite a bet done last night.
Mostly assembled and also the wiring for the light box and side rod is in.
the side knob is not permanently affixed yet, still have to add some wish.
and so some minor painting. all i have to do now is what for the battery compartments, and maybe add LEDs in the grips. i will post more pictures when i have the blaster let up.
